¹¹ So I will ·punish [execute judgments upon] the people of Moab, and they will know that I am the Lord.’

Prophecy Against Edom

¹² “This is what the Lord God says: ‘Edom took ·revenge [vengeance] on the ·people [^Lhouse] of Judah, and the Edomites became guilty because of it. ¹³ So this is what the Lord God says: I will ·use my power [^Lstretch out my hand] against Edom, killing every human and animal in it. And I will ·destroy [lay waste; make desolate] Edom all the way from Teman [^Cdistrict in central Edom] to Dedan [^Cterritory in southern Edom] as they ·die in battle [^Lfall by the sword].
